Hollis and I walked to the playground today. The difference today was that Hollis walked herself there, and it was the first time she wore real shoes. It took her a little while to get used to the feel of her sneakers, and she fell a few times scraping up her hands, but boy, did she have fun!
If you are wondering why she hasn't walked outside before, it's usually because she is bundled up in snowsuits, or we're going long distances in the stroller. It's either been raining or snowing and icy, and she doesn't have any snowboots, so we took advantage of the weather today and dry, clear roads and headed out to try some outdoor walking.
