Frankfurt am Main
Just across the river is a huge flea market where you can find anything and everything. Shoes, clothes, kitchen items, bicycles, furniture, gadgets, art, antiques and just plain good old junk!
We wandered the market last weekend - no treasures purchased - but did have a fun time taking it all in.
This is on the corner of our neighborhood. There are several in the area, but basically, they are community book stands. They have glass doors, and you are welcome to take a book, leave a book. Of course, these are all in German, but we like to stop and peruse now and again. :) I actually found an English book in there. Woo hoo!
